Been reading a book on human motivation and realised that, for most of my classes I'm taking right now, it is the extrinsic motivation provided by the money that drives me to teach. Even though I enjoy the process of teaching too, I think I have narrowed my focus too much on the goal of upgrading my financial status as early as I can. I feel that this probably compromises on the intrinsic drive and interest to teach and might eventually cause me to tire of the profession.

So here's the plan to make sure my job isn't just about money and to a certain extent, I'm giving back to society.:
I'm gonna continue taking classes to maintain a stable income until I graduate.
But on the sidelines, I shall dedicate my time to conduct low profit classes -- tuition sessions consisting of 2 to 3 students for only a nominal fee of 20 dollars each.
These students shall receive the same materials (notes, worksheets, etc) as my private students, but will not receive the same attention as my personal students. They will be able to come only for certain topics, as and when they need or like.

I'll need to start producing my own notes and resources... lotsa work ahead!
