"Love is a verb. Love – the feeling – is the fruit of love the verb or our loving actions. So love her. Sacrifice. Listen to her. Empathize. Appreciate. Affirm her."

Begin with the end in mind. Know where you're going before you go, and you'll get there eventually.

Put first things first. Sure, everyone is important, but who is important to you?

Think win-win. It can be amazing for the both of us, lets make it happen.

Lesson of the day: You can be a success because - not in spite of - your weaknesses. Embrace yourself, your strengths and your weaknesses, and count on them to make you different and be part of your unique path to success.

This chapter from the book 18 minutes got me thinking of my own traits.
Perhaps one of my prominent strength/weakness is the ability to focus/inability to multitask. Its been something I've been instinctively doing since young but did not notice until recently. When I have my sights set on a goal to be achieved or an objective to be achieved, I am usually remarkably determined and fast at achieving them. The flip side of this is that I would also tend to be disinterested in anything else and highly restless if I were told to do anything else but my intended goal. Today's UO was a great example when I started lining up the RAIs into a formation (like dominoes) and everyone thought I was mad or OCD but I just kept at it and before long the whole unit joined in. It truly was a thought provoking moment for me.

Instead of trying too hard to do things that you aren't accustomed to, it may well be easier to just embrace your "weaknesses" as these "weaknesses" may not be what they seem - in fact, they make you different and unique.
