I was sharing these thoughts with Kok Wei during the long hours in EMR...
"Nothing is as powerful as the subconcious mind.
Even if you make a concious effort to not behave in a certain way,
As long as your subconcious mind has determined to act in an opposite manner,
The subconcious mind will always succeed in subtly driving you to act in that manner.
The most scary part is that you will always be unaware that the subconcious mind is actually prevailing over your concious effort. You will do things unknowingly, and you will remain convinced that your concious effort is paying off.
In short, the subconcious mind is like a box we're stuck in.
We are only able to act within it, not apart from it.
We may make an effort to get out of it, but we can never be entirely sure that we really are out of it."
Best be true to yourself =/
