*.* Quotes *.*

"Love is a verb. Love – the feeling – is the fruit of love the verb or our loving actions. So love her. Sacrifice. Listen to her. Empathize. Appreciate. Affirm her."

Be Proactive. If there isn't a solution, be the solution. Make things happen.

Begin with the end in mind. Know where you're going before you go, and you'll get there eventually.

Put first things first. Sure, everyone is important, but who is important to you?

Think win-win. It can be amazing for the both of us, lets make it happen.

Seek first to understand, then to be understood. I'm listening, are you?

Synergise. 1+1=3, believe.

Sharpen the saw. There's much to improve on, but we could start by starting here

CNY

Happy Chinese New Year everyone, er, anyone who's reading this. I realise its been awhile since christmas, but nothing much has been going on and I really don't see the need in informing everyone about everything from my daily life so that explains the scarce number of posts.

Anyway, I'm here to records my thoughts of the moment, so that a few months or years later when I read my archives I'll remember that 2008 was the best CNY I had in ten years. So, enough explaining and mental notes, and on with the blogging.

Here goes....

On 初一,I went to my auntie's house. I wasn't expecting alot, since it was almost always boring when I went there in the previous years. I suspect that is because I was too antisocial to mingle back then. Well as proof of how antisocial I am, I brought my dog with me to accompany me throughout the visiting hours. Before any of you go "wtf this retard is retarded visiting still bring dog", some explanation seems to be in place, first. You see, my dog was given to me by my cousin who I was visiting and it was one from a set of 6, I think, so it was only natural that I let them be reunited during CNY, isn't that what CNY is all about in the first place? Reunion? Anyhow, bringing Jubee turned out to be a good move, as everyone there was fond of dogs, and since they had 4 dogs of their own, I didn't need to keep her away from anyone--- everyone was trying to play with her. Other than one horrible woman, anyway. Including my dog there were 5 dogs present there that day so they more or less were in the limelight the whole time, not that I mind... Well, pictures, first, before I go on...

All of them though, you can't see the Jack Russell here.

If I didn't rmb the names wrongly...(from left) Winky, Nemo and Elmo.

Dogs having fun.

I have more, but I doubt anyone wants them, so I'll keep them for myself. If you're interested you can find me on msn, of course.

Oh, the dogs weren't the only thing that made me happy on chu1, I think last year's CNY I did an entry on how my dad's sister's grandaughter became damn chio all of a sudden, and I was too useless to go speak to her. Well, at the thundering age of 17, Junwen has finally got the guts to go talk to a female relative of the same age for the first time in er, five years? Its nothing much, but its a step from being totally useless. Oh, and I think she's nice.

Moving on to the next day...

Uh, on 2nd thought, the 2nd day isn't so good for blogging after all. I'll summarise it with 2 words, though. And here they are... "Mahjong" and "Relatives". That's the main idea, yea.

Moving on again...

The third day was yet another amazing day. Its amazing for a number of things, firstly being that it was the day on which the first ever SUCCESSFUL 6k gathering was held. Long term readers ( meaning no one ) will know that I grow up at the speed of a snail and even after graduating from SJI, I'm still fairly attached to my primary school. Just don't ask me why. So, anyway, the previous 6k gathering was... a fiasco, so I feared the same thing would happen, but no, it didn't, and it was a fun day for everyone. The first stop was Mrs Goh (P6 form teacher)'s house, and we played a few games there, nothing much to elaborate, and I hope no one else does... Mrs Goh hasn't changed much, making her unique, everyone there has changed drastically over the years. There's just this one girl who changed so much that I needed to see her ez-link card to confirm it was her. She's become quite pretty, which I admit with regret I never thought possible. I'm sorry for saying that, Jiamin, lol. After that we went to AMK Hub for dinner and then to Bukit Timah for pool... not much to elaborate for those 2 places, other than fun. Here's a pic.
2nd row, furthest left, that would be me.
The idiot on my right(in green) would be the idiot I call Joel.
Beside Joel is Ivan, and further right is kian tat.
And... oh, this is tiring, if anyone is really interested in their names, just drop a tag or tell me on msn. alrite?
And we move on... to the next day.
So, sunday! And the event of the day was visiting... my tuition teacher's house. I met the KC star Kim there, she looks... the same as on tv. We played blackjack, at which I lost about 20 dollars, F, and then mahjong. Yes, I know going to my tuition teacher's house to gamble isn't very right, but that's the way it is and I have no intention of changing it so its alright, really. It was fun and all, and I hope there would be future gatherings like that. I just keep getting the feeling it might be a whole year before the next one... No pics for this one, sorry.
And that pretty much sums out my CNY, and I'll be back... the next time something major happens. Till then, bye.
